Safety First - New competences for a competitive European Agricultural Mechanization Industry, is a pilot project realised within Leonardo da Vinci Programme II Phase.

The project was conceived to be a “laboratory” to identify practical tools to help people already professionally active within the industry adapt their everyday work competences in order to manage changes they face coming from regulatory harmonisation and technological innovation. It is also a theoretical reference model for higher education up-dating, in order to adapt it to the actual requirements of the industry.

The CD is a collection of the main products made during the project, explicitly the tools and scientific materials that aid companies and educational/training institutions in developing the sector human capital.

All documents included have been organised in three areas:

PROJECT,  where general information is given about the project’s context, goals and the actions actually activated by the Partnership.

RESEARCH, where the tools and the analytical documents deriving from the surveys carried out in the different countries can be consulted.

PARTNERS, where information about the organisations that contributed to the implementation of the project can be accessed.
